Akubra Adventurer at City Hatters

Posted by Miroslav under: Hats; Stores .

I popped into the best hat shop in Melbourne this morning, City Hatters, to drop of my black Akubra Stylemaster for a bit of a re-shaping, and had a good chat with the sales guy for a while about the history of the place (in the same shop next to the main steps at Flinders Street Station since the business started in 1910) and their long time missing website (coming soon i was told).

During our chat, one of things he pointed out was that they had Akubra Adventurer’s (which are styled after the famous Indiana Jones hat) sitting on the shelf.

There you go…I always thought that they were only available in Australia at Sydney’s best hat shop, Strand Hatters and in the US through the David Morgan stores and website.

On a side note…when i go and pick up my Stylemaster next week, i may have a chat to City Hatters and see if they have any old photos and history of the shop that they wouldn’t mind sharing ;)

One Comment so far...

Greetings all hat lovers!

City Hatters will be receiving a delivery of Silk collapsible Toppers from Italy in the next 2 weeks. The make is Guerra which is actually older than Borsalino!

We also have a great selection of Winter caps just delivered.

Hope to see you in City Hatters soon!
