Akubra release six new hats

Last month the legendary Australian hat maker, Akubra, announced the addition of six new hats to its range.
Two fur-felt styles called Stingy Brim and Trilby as well as a polypropylene straw (Punter) and a hemp braid straw (Casablanca) will hit retail shelves in October.

AKUBRA has also introduced a new country style called Kokoda as well as a western style called Golden Spur. Both these hats come with 3 eyelets.

Am 83 and have never stepped out without a hat in 60 years, have purchased them from around the world, including a Panama from Sydney, a Trilby from Stratford in UK, and an Akubra from Adelaide. Fancya Casablanca if I can get my head-size: 6 3/4″ or 6 7/8″

The “Punter’ looks like the hat for me. What a gem!! Great to hear your comments Vernon. My Grandfather was a tradesman, but when not at work he never stepped out without hat and jacket.

Hi – for all you Brisbane folk, there is a new Akubra Hats specialty retail at the corner of Anderson St & Diggles Cl in FORTITUDE VALLEY – marcato OUTDOOR. All Stock Hats available and I believe they are building a collection of ALL Akubra hats so you can see and order from their entire range!
